Fellow Drammers!

We’re thrilled to announce the perfect way to get your 4th of July weekend off to a rockin start — on Friday, the 3rd of July at Noon PST / 3pm EST / 20:00 Scotland time, we’re throwing a massive tasting and celebration of all things Glenmorangie with their Master Global Brand Ambassador David Blackmore! Details to emerge soon, but wanted to let you know asap so you could save the date. We CAN tell you that we’ve already secured some insane bottles, including:

  • 2 Bottles of the 1971 Culloden official Glenmo bottling in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Culloden, very hard to find. If I understand correctly, this will even be David’s first time drinking this rare release! (Bottled Oct. 1995)

  • 2 official bottlings from approximately the 1980s, both 10 year olds, one for the Italian Market (SET A), one for the German market (SET B).

  • Two early SMWS Glenmo bottlings, bottle #125.39 (18yo, 55.7%, “Geteau de Mille-Feuilles”, SET A) and #125.47 (15yo, 56.1%, “Greta Garbo, SET B).

  • Our friends at Glenmo are working out what they can get to us during this shutdown era, but some very fun bottles being tossed around, stay tuned.

  • I’ve also secured one fun 1971 o.b. “der Grune Punkt”, 150th anniversary bottle, which we may or may not use if we can find 2 of something better.

In any case, more to come, and so far not a big different between SET A and SET B, but that may change. Can’t wait!

Best,
Charlie
