Fellow Drammers!
We’re very excited and proud to announce that our Drammers Club will be the first private barrel pick of Paul John whiskey in America! We’re going to do an epic tasting event with the our Mumbai chapter — they’ll get a set of samples and pick a barrel, and our US members will get to choose from another set of samples, all simultaneously together on Zoom on Saturday, October 17th. Of course, to span the time zones, it’ll have to start earlier than normal, so 10:30pm in Mumbai, 1pm EST, 10am PDT etc. But aside from a great chance to meet our fellow Drammers in Mumbai, everyone in the US will get a tasting pack of at least 5 samples including the new Christmas Edition 2020, which we’ll compare to the Christmas Edition 2019, and still working on a couple other fun pours, which we’ll announce soon. We don’t have enough barrel samples for everyone, sadly, but we’ll pick at random from whoever signs up to be on our tasting committee to choose our barrel in the US. These are some special barrel samples that their master distiller Michael D’Souza hand-picked for us following our event with him a month or so back, so this promises to be some amazing juice.
