We’re excited to welcome Mal Bien Mezcal to Drammers Club on October 1st at 8pm EST and their US importer Ben Scott! They are bringing in some of the most exciting and important maestro mezcaleros in the land, and we’ll be trying 5 of them at this event:
Jabali from Chucho and Poncho Sanchez. 50.12% abv. Distilled in Chichicapam, Oaxaca, in a prehispanic oven, and (our favorite!) — adjusted with puntas!
An ensemble of madiecuixe, bicuixe and tepextate from Victor and Emanuel Ramos. 49.95% abv, distilled in Mengoli de Morelos, Miahuatlan, Oaxaca. Adjusted with Puntas.
Verde from Felipe and Ageo Cortes. 49.74% abv. Distilled in Miahuatlan, Oaxaca, and adjusted with Puntas.
Alto from Isidro Rodriguez, distilled in Rio de Paris, Michoacan. 46.58% abv. Distilled on Filipino stills, adjusted with flores y colas.
Espadin from Don Lucio, 45.5% abv.Distilled in San dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca.
