Fellow Drammers!
We’re thrilled to announce that our longtime friend, the Master Global Brand Ambassador for The Glenmorangie Company, David Blackmore will be in Charlotte on May 15th, and he has generously agreed to do an event with us that night there! They’ll be opening up a few pours from both the Ardbeg and Glenmorangie portfolio, and then at some point we’ll open up a rare bottle of Ardbeg distilled in 1991 (keep in mind that very little Ardbeg was produced in this time period — the distillery didn’t operate at all from 1981 to 1989, making this particularly rare juice). Matured for 13 years and bottled at 55.1% for the Japanese market, the Acorn independent bottlers. It promises to be a special nights. A huge thank you to Tanya Thompson, who is stepping in to organize since our regular chapter head Perry Pao will be hosting his 2 year old’s birthday party. We hope you can join us!
