Fellow Drammers!

All four of the Drammers-exclusive barrels we picked have arrived! Technically they’re actually 7 barrels, since one of the expressions was a 4-barrel blend that they head blender Ryan Ciuchta picked just for us! To celebrate their arrival, we’re doing a tasting on Tuesday, July 28th at [TRAVEL BAR] with their founder and master distiller Colin Spoelman [JOINING OVER ZOOM]. We’ll be tasting 5 expressions in total, all four of our Drammers-exclusive picks, plus their bottled-in-bond applejack, which we managed to secure a couple bottles of before they sold out. And of course you can always order drinks at the bar! For those of you in the NYC area, you’re welcome to join in person (they have a beautiful outdoor space in front of the bar — of course bring a mask!). For those of you who can’t join in person, we can send you a sample set like usual, and we’ll set up a Zoom so you can hear what Colin has to say!. More details about each bottle are available in the Bottles section of our website, but here’s the overview:

  • Drammers #011 - a High-Rye Bourbon Blend that their head blender Ryan Ciuchta made just for us! Bottled at cask strength of a whopping 68% abv.

  • Drammers #012 - an extremely rare 5 year old oated bourbon bottled at cask strength of 64.2%!

  • Drammers #013 - barrel #3503, a 4 year old bourbon bottled at cask strength of 64.7%.

  • Drammers #014 - barrel #3867, a 3 year old bourbon bottled at cask strength of 64.0%

  • Bottled-in-bond applejack, now sold out, and of course being BIB, it’s 50% abv.

All of these were selected by our members during our epic virtual distillery tour and tasting on April 24, 2020. The full 4-hour recording of that event, which discusses all of these and a lot more in detail, is under the Video Library tab of this website.
