Fellow Drammers!
We’re continuing our happy hour series on Tuesday, August 18th at 5pm Pacific / 7pm Central / 8pm Eastern with the founder of Sepse Creek Distillery out of California. We thought we might have to delay the event because their Warmaster bourbon release started getting major national attention and is now massively sold out until late Fall, but David attended one of our Paul John events at our LA chapter and has a soft spot for us, and so generously is kicking in a couple bottles from his home closet so we can try their whiskies now. It’s all the more special for us because one of our own, Kat Aageson, a member of our LA chapter and experienced whiskey brand ambassador is now working for Sespe Creek and brought this opportunity to us! Since the brand is generously donating all the bottles, the cost is just $10/person at cost to cover the packaging materials. We’ll be trying four expressions:
Warbringer Bourbon: Warmaster Edition, Release 3 (very, very sold out nationwide)
Warbringer Southwest Bourbon (using hand-roasted mesquite smoked corn and malted rye)
Warbringer Rye (cask strength)
an Unreleased Muscovado Rum (cask strength)
Obviously the last one hasn’t been released yet, the rye is nearly as unavailable, and the first 2 are sold out (the warmaster edition is profoundly sold out and deeply backordered). So this is a real treat, and David is awesome, we got to know him a little bit at our Drammers event in LA, and he’s good people. Very excited to welcome him and Kat and hear all about this promising new distillery.
