Fellow Drammers!
We’re excited to announce our first in-person event in Chicago, on April 6th. Doors at 5:30pm, we’ll start the formal presentation at 6:30pm, where we’ll have a fun array of exciting scotches, bourbons and even a mezcal on hand to enjoy. We’re finalizing the lineup and will post it likely tomorrow morning, but wanted to get this up asap, so folks could make plans. The lineup will likely include some of our recent barrel picks, including a Highland Park single cask, aged 13 years (entirely) in a European oak sherry cask and bottled at 63.9% abv. We’ll also have the 3 casks we bought from hometown favorite FEW — a bourbon finished in a (non-peated) scotch cask, a bourbon finished in a vermouth cask (you won’t believe how balanced it is!) and a rye finished in a malbec cask, all at cask strength and all club exclusives. We’ll have at least 8 expressions on hand, which we’ll announce shortly. In the meantime, you’re welcome to join! $35/person for Drammers Members, $50/person for non-Members.
