Fellow Drammers!
We’re returning to Port Lurin! On April 20th, doors at 6pm and we’ll probably get the formal presentation going closer to 6:45pm, Matt Lurin, the head of our Drammers Long Island chapter, is hosting our next local chapter meeting there, and he’s arranged for Gary Pickard, the brand ambassador from Brown Forman, to join us in person for the event! We’re still finalizing the lineup, but we’ll be trying two GlenDronach 18yos to compare, one where the youngest whiskey in the bottle is 18yo, there other where the youngest whiskey in the bottle is actually a 24 yo. We’re also looking to go big on a few BenRiach bottling, 21yo, 25yo, 30yo (or maybe even a 35yo). Plus a number of other expressions from across the BF portfolio (perhaps an Old Forester, a Woodford, a Jack Daniels, a Slaine, a Glenglassaugh, maybe some GlenDronach single casks…). Not all those of course, but you get the idea, a hefty lineup. Plus we’re enlisting Stamford chapter president Yoni Miller to arrange an optional $10/person cigar add on for those who are interested. Pizza will be included, as usual.
