I have great news! Our friends at Ardbeg are coming back to celebrate with us in NYC. We’ve been fortunate to work closely with their team for years, including hosting their Distillery Manager Mickey Heads a few years ago. Well, our friend and fellow Drammer Lauren Wilenski, our local Ardbeg brand ambassador (you’ll recall she most recently helped judge our Whisk(e)y Olympics event in August (particularly our “Stupid Tasting Notes” category) in preparation for the tastings we did at Burning Man last year. Well we all owe her a drink — she just reached out to offer joining us for a Drammers event in NYC on May 12th with David Blackmore, Master Brand Ambassador for Ardbeg and Glenmorangie (who has repeatedly been named Scotch Whisky Brand Ambassador of the Year, and we’ll also be honored to host Cameron George, Ardbeg’s National Brand Ambassador!! This is exciting. I’ll go ahead and put up a listing for it on our website for members, it’ll be $100/person so that we can make sure to buy some BIG bottles from the collectors market. Details to come on what we’ll be drinking, but I promise it won’t disappoint. Capped at 60 people.
