Hello Washington DC Drammers!
You’re invited to join us for a special tasting on Thursday, March 5th at 7pm with one of the biggest names in the industry - Ewan Morgan, the National Program Director for Diageo, overseeing dozens of the most famous Scotch distilleries. At this tasting we’ll be focused on three legendary ones: Lagavulin, Oban and Talisker. And you’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who knows more about these distilleries than Ewan. We’ve got a huge lineup to match, and the ticket money for this event is being used to purchase our headline bottle, a 30 year old Talisker! (MSRP: $1,100/bottle). We’ll add at least two bonus pours to this, but here’s what we’re announcing of the lineup for now:
Talisker 30yo (48.5% abv)
Oban 15yo, cask strength
Lagavulin 16yo (which has new packaging)
Lagavulin sweet peat
Oban 10 special release 2022
Plus two bonus pours TBA!
That’s one heck of a lineup, we hope you can join us! We’ll order in light food (likely pizza), which is included in your ticket.
