You’re invited to join us for a special tasting on Sunday, Mar. 22nd, starting at Noon Pacific / 3pm EST in the US and 20:00 in Scotland with the founder and CEO of Nc’Nean Distillery, located in the Scottish highlands. Nc’Nean is not just an organic distillery, but one of only two distilleries in the world that is B Corp certified, (the are also verified as net zero carbon emissions for scopes 1 and 2). For those who know what those qualifications mean, it’s no joke, this is not a brand just tossing around the word “organic” lightly, and it’s especially remarkable in the energy hungry process that goes into making Scotch whisky. It's not an exaggeration that their focus on producing an organic and sustainable product is changing the industry's thinking about production.
We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Annabel a number of times over the years, but this will be our first chance to welcome her online for a deep dive into all things Nc’Nean, and we’re hosting the event on the day after their 9th anniversary of distilling (which also happens to be B Corp month and Women’s Month). Over the years, her excellent whisky has continued to rack up some of the most impressive awards in the industry, recently winning a Double Gold from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, a Gold from IWSC, and a Great Taste Award Gold Star. We’ll be tasting 6 Nc’Nean expressions at this event, including a single casks and three special limited edition bottlings:
