Hello Columbus Drammers!
You're invited to join us for a special tasting on Thursday, March 12th at 7pm with Erin Karga, the National Sales Director for the great Barrell Bourbon. We imagine Barrell needs little introduction, but just in case, they are the groundbreaking blenders behind some of the most innovative bourbon and rye releases of the last decade, including Dovetail, Seagrass and a lot more. We’ve long been enormous fans of this whiskey-making team, and have bought three single barrels with them over the years, two of which we’ll be bringing for this tasting. Erin will be letting us know soon the exact lineup for this event, and Barrell has so many releases, it will likely change and expand as we get closer to the event. Here’s an example of a lineup we did recently with members of the Barrell team in Boston and Philadelphia to give you a feel for what to expect:

Likely the lineup in Columbus will be even bigger! We hope you can join us! We’re finalizing the venue location now and will follow up as soon as it is confirmed. We’ll also order in light food (likely pizza) to try to make sure nobody is drinking on an empty stomach, and as always we strongly encourage everyone to arrange a ride home -- most of what we'll be drinking is cask strength after all!
