Fellow Drammers!
Our 2026 gathering of the members — “The Drammening” — is here! It will take place Thursday, Feb. 26th through Sunday, March 1st.
This event listing is for the event at 6pm on Sunday, Mar. 1st — our “closing dinner” — which will be at the best whisky bar in town! That would be the bar at Delmonico’s at The Venetian, and the head of the bar program there is Erik Kluever, a member of the club who has assembled a jaw-dropping selection of whiskies. We’ve got a reservation there for tables that can hold up to 24 people. It will be an informal gathering in that everyone will order and pay for their dinner’s on their own, so there’s no ticket charge to join, but please do RSVP so we can get the head count right. We’ll announce the winners of the awards competition from Saturday morning, and it’ll be a last chance for us to get together before folks starting heading to their respective homes…
For those coming in from out of town, the closest casinos are Gold Coast, Orleans, The Palms etc., which are less expensive than the ones on the Strip. There is always a chance the schedule of events will change, though it is unlikely at this point. Currently the schedule of events is as follows:

SATURDAY, FEB. 28th:
11am - Blind Tasting Awards Competition
2pm - Found North -w- Chris Riesbeck
5pm - Minden Mill Distillery Master Distiller Joseph O’Sullivan
8pm - Murder Mystery Costume Party with Duncan Taylor, Dama Fortuna Tequila and Shand Imports
SUNDAY, MAR. 1st:
12pm - Surprise Event TBA
3pm - Rare Character -w- Co-Founder Pete Nevenglosky
6pm - Closing Awards Dinner* at Delmonico’s at The Venetian (everyone will buy dinner on their own, separate from the “all access pass”)
There will be informal events around this to go to great bars like Bar Ginza, Golden Tiki and the allmighty Sand Dollar Lounge etc. before and after this schedule of events.
