You’re invited to join us for a special tasting on Thursday, June 4th at 7pm with Murray McDavid, a leading independent bottler of Scotch whisky. Our guest speaker will be their Head of Sales, Ben Chambers. Ben is a seasoned professional with 15 years in the drinks industry having worked at Diageo, Duncan Taylor, and GlenAllachie before his current role as Head of Sales for Murray McDavid and Aceo Spirits. We’ll also be joined by our longtime friend and fellow Drammers Jared Card, who is not representing Murray McDavid in the US. They’ve assembled a great lineup for us to taste:

  • Cask Craft Dailuaine (bourbon cask finish) - 44.5%abv

  • Cask Craft Linkwood (Madeira cask finish) - 44.5%abv

  • Cask Craft Auchroisk (port cask finish) - 46%abv

  • Cask Craft Teaninich (peated cask finish) - 46%abv

  • Benchmark Glentauchers 17yr old (koval bourbon cask finish) -  56.9%abv - 1 of 218 bottles

  • Benchmark Bunnahabhain 15yr old (Chateau Margeaux cask finish) - 58.7%abv - 1 of 312 bottles

  • Benchmark Caol Ila 9r old (PX cask finish) - 56.3%abv - 1 of 302 bottles

  • Benchmark Leapfrog (a cute way of indicating it's Laphroaig) 14yr old bourbon cask - 54.9%abv - 1 of 153 bottles
