Hello Chicago Drammers!
You’re invited to join us for a tasting on June 10th at 7pm with Single Cask Nation founder Joshua Hatton! The event will take place at Birch Road (address: Lincoln Park, 1113 W. Armitage Ave.). We’ve long been enormous fans of what Joshua and Jason have done, building the first major independent bottler of Scotch based here in the United States. We’ve even selected a single barrel with them in the past, and we hosted a special anniversary event for Joshua and Jason a few years back in Chicago. Now that they’ve been acquired by Artisan Spirits (the same company that owns Scotch Malt Whisky Society), they are now pursuing SCN full time, and they’ve got some incredible new releases (you can find a huge lineup of their releases at our retail partner DRINQY.com). That’s one heck of a lineup, we hope you can join us! We’ll order in light food, which is included in your ticket (likely pizza - if anyone has any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance), and as always we ask that nobody attending drive home from the event — after all, we’re drinking plenty of cask strength whisky, so be sure to arrange a ride home.
