You’re invited to join us for a rare whiskey and spirits tasting on Wednesday, January 14th at 7pm. A big thank you to Andrew Sowers for organizing and hosting us (his address is 22 Salamanca Ave Apt 706, Coral Gables, FL 33134). We’ve got a great lineup that we’ll be tasting through, including:
High West - the new release of A Midwinters Night’s Dram
Barrell Craft Spirits - Drammers Single Barrel Pick - Bourbon Finished in a St. Agrestis Amaro Cask (cask strength)
Rezpiral - new drammers pick Arroqueno by Simeon Ramirez, made only from the LEAVES of the agave, not the pina. Crazy.
Independent Spirits - The Octave Project - Mother Cask (Craigellachie 11yo), 64.3% abv
Independent Spirits - The Octave Project - Ex-Rye Octave Cask (Craigellachie 11yo) 64.7% abv
Independent Spirits - The Octave Project - Ex-Bourbon Octave Cask (Craigellachie 11yo) 63.7% abv
Creetown - 13yo Blair Athol (ex-Red Wine finish)
Single Cask Nation - Glen Garioch 12yo bottling for the Independent Spirits film. Finished in an Oloroso hogshead, 58.9% abv.
That’s our lineup, we hope you can join us! We’ll order in light food (likely pizza) which is included with your ticket. And as always, we ask everyone to arrange a ride home, after all we’ll be drinking plenty of high proof stuff! Please let us know if you have any questions.
