You’re invited to join us for a rare whiskey and spirits tasting on Sunday, January 11th at 7pm. A big thank you to Chris LaCarrubba for organizing and to Martin Hulth for hosting us (address: 2963 SW Sunset Blvd, Portland, OR 97239). We’ve got a great lineup that we’ll be tasting through, including:
High West - the new release of A Midwinters Night’s Dram
Rezpiral - new drammers pick Arroqueno by Simeon Ramirez, made only from the LEAVES of the agave, not the pina. Crazy.
Independent Spirits - The Octave Project - Mother Cask (Craigellachie 11yo), 64.3% abv
Independent Spirits - The Octave Project - Ex-Rye Octave Cask (Craigellachie 11yo) 64.7% abv
Independent Spirits - The Octave Project - Ex-Bourbon Octave Cask (Craigellachie 11yo) 63.7% abv
Creetown - 14yo Dailuaine (ex-Calvados finish)
Creetown - 13yo Blair Athol (ex-Red Wine finish)
Creetown - Balmenach 10yo - Barrel 1797/2013; 52.3% vol.
Single Cask Nation - Glen Garioch 12yo bottling for the Independent Spirits film. Finished in an Oloroso hogshead, 58.9% abv.
