Hello Chicago Drammers!
We’ve got great news — Ardbeg and Glenmorangie’s Global Brand Ambassador, David Blackmore, has agreed to join us as our guest speaker on Wednesday, Dec. 3rd at 7pm — what he’s calling Holiday Drams with Santa Blackmore, ha. He’s bringing some fun bottles, including:
1. Glenmorangie Calvados Finish 12yr
2. Glenmorangie Lasanta 15yr (this is a relatively new expression of their sherry finished whisky, replacing the previous 12yo edition)
3. Glenmorangie Nectar 16yr (also a new expression, replacing the no-age-statement Nectar D’Or)
4. Glenmorangie A Tale of Spices (their brand new limited edition release)
5. Glenmorangie Signet Reserve (this is the new sherry-finished, and slightly more aged version of their ground-breaking single malt using “chocolate” (heavily roasted) barley. These bottles retail for $350 to $450 per bottle on average.
6. Ardbeg 17yr - and we had to have a little Ardbeg of course!
