Sep. 19: Drammers Denver w/ Duncan Taylor & Shand Imports...

Hello Denver Drammers!

This Thursday, September 19th at 7pm, you’re invited to join us for a special tasting with our good friend Peter Currie. We know it’s short notice, but he just let us know he’d be in town and had some extra time, and we didn’t want to miss the opportunity. In addition to being a fellow Drammer, Peter is the head (“National Sales Manager”) of one of the premiere importing houses here in the US — they import many top Scotch, agave and other brands. Their most famous easily is Duncan Taylor one of a handful of the great, longstanding independent bottlers of Scotch alongside Cadenhead’s, Gordon Macphail, Signatory Vintage and SMWS). They also import Black Bull, Big Smoke, and a new distillery out of Glasgow (Glasgow Distillery Company) which releases the Glasgow 1770 line of Scotches. He’ll be bringing a little bit of everything to the tasting this Thursday, and we’ll order in pizza as usual (included).

Also a big thank you to Clarke for organizing the night — he will be running point on this event (Charlie will be hosting our event in Washington DC that night and Joshua will be out of town).
