It’s been over a year since we’ve checked in with our friends at the Bimber distillery in West London, and we figured we were overdue to check in on them. Needless to say they’ve been keeping busy. In addition to moving forward with a new distillery their team is building in Scotland (the Dunphail distillery), they’ve been busy bees at the Bimber distillery as well. Matt McKay’s title (“Director of Marketing and Communication”) is a bit of an understatement — he also helps with production and the overall direction of the brand, in addition to being a prolific whisky writer (he co-founded The Dramble). Those of you who joined our event in July of 2021 will remember that our club proudly signed up as a “Founding Member” of Bimber. In any case they’ve got a lot of fun new whisky for us to try since our last tasting. Here’s what we’ll be tasting at this online event on October 8th, starting at Noon Pacific / 3pm Eastern / 20:00 in London, where we’ll also be joined by our longtime friend and fellow Drammer Raj Sabharwal, who is their importer (Glass Revolution):
