Our next in person event in Charlotte will take place on Saturday, January 8th at 7pm. As usual, we’ve assembled a great lineup of bottles to taste. It’s looking like we’ll probably be hosting our kicking off event in Louisville this coming Thursday, so naturally we’re reserving a spot in the lineup for whatever rare bourbon we can drum up while we’re there. But as for the other 7 whiskies we’ll be tasting, here’s what we’ve got planned, drumroll please:

Four Roses Single Barrel: (Kroger pick) OBSQ, aged 10 years 4 months, KY exclusive.
The GlenDronach Cask Bottling d.2008: 11yo, PX Puncheon cask, 60.4% abv
Wayne Gretzky No. 99: Ice Wine Casks edition, 41.5%
Legs Diamond Rye, from the Nahmias et Fils Distillery in Yonkers, 40% abv
Drammers Pick - Paul John Single Cask, peated, 2nd fill, matured in their underground warehouse, cask strength
Drammers Pick - Dakabend 4yo Oaxacan rum, 1 of 3 barrels ever produced
Drammers Pick - Tio Chico Sotol, or cucharillo as they call it in Oaxaca, one of the last batches he made before he passed away.
Plus a bourbon to be named later after our trip to Kentucky this coming week!

That’s our lineup, we hope you can join us! As usual, anyone who is part of the club and has been to one of our events either in person or online is welcome to join and to bring a friend. We’ll have food on hand (likely pizza) as well.
