Our next in person event in Boston will take place on Sunday, November 14th at 7pm, and while we’ll be tasting a range of exciting new whiskies as well, we’re thrilled to welcome Alex White, the founder of Rezpiral mezcal (and originally a Boston native!) as our guest speaker! He is in town from his current home in Oaxaca, where our club visited last week. We have an incredible lineup for you, featuring four of our newest, fanciest whiskies, plus a wild range of mezcals that you can’t get anywhere else. Specifically we’ll be trying:
Kilchoman Islay Single Malt Scotch - Drammers Single Barrel pick, 9yo including a 14 month STR finish, 53.4% abv
Amrut Indian Single Malt - Ex-rye barrel matured, Drammers Single Barrel, 60% abv
Frey Ranch 4 Grain Bourbon - Drammers SIngle Barrel Pick, 58% abv
Stellum Cask Strength Rye - Drammers Single Barrel Pick
Capon Espadin mezcal by Aureliano Hernandez (Rezpiral, Series 3)
Tobala con Frutas mezcal by Aureliano Hernandez (Rezpiral, Series 4)
Tobasiche mezcal by Simeon and Apolonio Ramirez (Rezpiral, Series 4)

How about that for a lineup!!!! Yes, that’s 12 expressions, so we’ll be making small pours, and of course everyone is strongly encouraged to take an uber or get a ride home from the event. In any case, we hope you can join us, and (as usual), anyone who is part of the club and has been to one of our events either in person or online is welcome to join and to bring a friend. We’ll have snacks on hand (guacamole, tacos, appetizers, etc.) as well.
