May 7: Drammers NYC (Recent Barrel Picks!)......

For anyone who was planning to attend our event In NYC tomorrow night, please note that something came up and unfortunately our guest speaker Simon Brooking needed to reschedule. The new event date will be June 13th at 7pm. For those of you who are still up for meeting up tomorrow, we'll hold an impromptu casual event, where we'll have an array of our recent single barrels you can try. The lineup will no doubt be larger than this, but it will include at a minimum:

• Single Cask Nation 11yo - Drammers Pick! -- Inchgower single malt scotch, finished for 26 months in a sherry hogshead,

• Duncan Taylor Octave - Aultmore Single Malt Scotch, distilled in 2008, botted in 2022, aged 13 years. 1 of 72 bottles, 52.1% abv.

• Duncan Taylor Octave - Royal Brackla Single Malt Scotch, distilled in 2011, bottled in 2018, aged 7 years. 52.4% abv.

• Spirits of French Lick - 4yo Bourbon “The Maddie Gladden” - a distillery located in Indianapolis (not MGP, it’s their own distillery)

• The much-talked-about Empirical x Doritos bottle - vacuum distilled, using a base malt that is fermented with Kogi, and then an entire bag of nacho cheese Doritos was macerated into each bottle! Needs to be tasted to be believed.

• The new "Secret Stash" bourbon release from Broken Barrel.

• An array of bourbon and single malt releases from the R6 Distillery in Los Angeles.

  We hope you can join us! We’ll order in pizza (included) to try to make sure nobody’s drinking on an empty stomach.
