Fellow Drammers!

We’re excited to welcome you to our next Drammers Barcelona event on March 19th at 7pm. This month we’ve got 7 special whiskies for you from both the single malt and bourbon side of the spectrum. First up, we’ve got no less than 3 special single barrel releases from the famous Buffalo Trace distillery, makers of Pappy Van Winkle, and many of the most sought-after bourbons in the world, including the vaunted Antique Collection. Our club has been very, very fortunate to receive a number of special single barrels that our members were able to select exclusively for members of our club, including a barrel of their namesake Buffalo Trace bourbon (aged 6 to 8 years), their more elite Eagle Rare bourbon, aged 10 years, and a special barrel of Sazerac rye, aged 6 years. These 3 barrels were selected by members of our club in Indianapolis and Los Angeles. Next, we’ll turn to 3 other special single barrels, this time on the single malt side and coming from the M&H Distillery in Tel Aviv. Our members in Tel Aviv selected an STR Finished barrel, while our members in the United States, in a joint online event with the distillery’s master distiller, selected both a single malt aged in an ex-rum cask, and another in an ex-port cask, all bottled at cask strength. There aren’t a lot of M&H single barrels to come by so far, making these particularly rare as well. Finally, we’ll turn to an American single malt, made by the team at Westward distillery in Portland, Oregon — yet another single barrel released under a special distillery membership program that focuses primarily on experimental beer finish releases — in this case a Chocolate Malted rye, bottled at 45% abv, which was never released outside of their private members club. So those are the 7 barrels we’ll start with, though, of course, knowing us, we might add to the lineup.

We hope you can join us! The price is 50 Euros per person which will include the drinks and some food (likely pizza). Please let us know if you have any questions!

Cheers,
Drammers Club
