Jun. 30: Drammers LBI...

Hello LBI Drammers!

Now that we've had a chance to decompress a bit after the (fabulous!) Lighthouse Film Festival, we're excited to get things going again with a special tasting on Sunday June 30th at 7pm.  Natalie has generously offered to host (thanks Natalie!).  Her address is:  1093B Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach Twp NJ 08008.

Our guest speaker will be Jeff Licthman, the brand ambassador for Old Line Spirits.  If you're not familiar with Old Line, they're a distillery based in Baltimore that makes all sorts of spirits, but has really specialized in a relatively new category -- American Single Malt whisky (made similar to a single malt Scotch -- with 100% malted barley, among other things -- but of course you can't call it a Scotch unless it's made in Scotland.  When you do the same thing here in the US, it's "American Single Malt.  We'll be trying an array of their single malts, a couple of their rums, and a surprise bonus pour.  And their brand ambassador Jeff has generously agreed to join us and tell us all about their whisky and the distillery. 

We hope you can join us!  We'll order in light food (likely pizza) to try to make sure nobody is drinking on an empty stomach, and as always arranging a ride home is strongly recommended.  Please let us know if you have any questions.
