We’re excited to announce this special online tasting on Thursday, June 16th starting at 5pm Pacific / 8pm Eastern where we’ll be going through 7 expressions from the Atelier Vie distillery in New Orleans with its founder Jedd Haas. We had the privilege of visiting his distillery, which was founded in 2011, when we were in New Orleans for the New Orleans Bourbon Festival a couple months back, and we were mesmerized by everything he’s doing. Apparently so were the folks at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, where his Riz Louisiana Rice Whiskey received a double gold, along with two Golds for his Louisiana Single Malt Whisky and his Barrel Aged Calio Rum. In sum, we’ll be tasting:

• Riz Louisiana Rice Whiskey

• New Orleans Single Malt Whiskey

• His rare Orphan Street “El Jefe” brandy (his last batch yielded only 37 bottles!),

• plus his Toulouse Green absinthe that he makes in house (he grows his own wormwood!),

• Barrel Aged Calio Rum

• his unaged Calio Rum and

• his Euphorosine Gin.
