July 30: The Cotswolds Distillery with their Global Brand Ambassador Rob Patchett...

We’re excited to announce a special online event on Saturday, July 30th (starting at Noon Pacific / 3pm EST / 20:00 in the UK) with our friends from the Cotswolds Distillery, including their global brand ambassador Rob Patchett, who we had the pleasure of visiting at their distillery in the Cotswolds (about an hour outside of London) last month. There we picked up some special distillery-only releases that we’ll be opening up for this tasting (listed below), and there’s a bunch more to come — we were talking with their brand ambassador in the USA (our longtime friend and fellow Drammer Brett Silverstein) who was talking about some exciting new expressions coming to the US market in total it might be up to 10 expressions we’ll be tasting! Here’s what we’ve got so far:

• Cotswolds New Make, 63.5% abv

• Madeira Cask Finish, Cask 623 (Cask Strength Cotswolds UK Single Malt) (distillery exclusive release). Distilled April 2016, bottled February 2022. 59.5% abv

• Hearts and Crafts - Pineau des Charentes Finish, Cotswolds UK Single Malt (sold out distillery exclusive release), 52.2%

• Hearts and Crafts - Rum Cask Finish, Cotswolds UK Single Malt (distillery exclusive release), 55.6% abv

We will likely also have most of the following, all awaiting confirmation from the transportation delay gods…

• Cotswolds Signature UK Single Malt Whisky, 46% abv

• Cotswolds Reserve UK Single Malt Whisky, 50% abv

• Cotswolds Founder’s Choice Single Malt Whisky, varies but approx 60% abv

• Cotswolds Peated Cask Single Malt Whisky (approx 60% abv)

• Cotswolds Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky, 57.4% abv

• Cotswolds Bourbon Cask Single Malt Whisky, 59.1% abv

• Cotswolds Gin

How about that for a lineup?! We’re not saying it’s the ultimate Cotswolds tasting of all time, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it was close — needless to say, you’re unlikely to get another chance at a tasting that dives this deep again anytime soon, if ever.
