We’re excited to announce that for our next Drammers Chicago chapter meeting, John Carrabus, the Director of Sales for the great Washington DC distillery District Made, will be in town and has agreed to join as our guest speaker! We’re huge fans of this distillery, which our DC chapter toured last year. In any case, John is generously bringing an array of fun samples for us to try, so we’re able to keep the cost of this event low at $20/person (including pizza!) for Members and $30/person for Drammers Observers. Of course, our club likes to contribute something when we can, so the cost includes one of District Made’s most sold-out and sought-after bottlings — the famous cask strength rye single barrel, aged 5 years and 189 days, bottle number 106 of 186, bottled at 66.1% abv! That is one great whiskey.
