Jul. 17: Online Tasting with Wally Dant, President, Distiller & Founder of Log Still Distillery......

We’re delighted to announce this online tasting on July 17th starting at 5pm Pacific / 8pm EST. Our guest speaker will be Wally Dant, the President/Distiller and co-founder, along with his cousins Lynne and Charles Dant, of the Log Still Distillery. Log Still is a relatively new distillery, but the Dant family has one of the longest standing and most prestigious histories in Kentucky bourbon, which played a big part in the desire to start this distillery and continue the generations of family bourbon-making tradition. We’ll get into all that at the tasting of course. And while most of their whiskey is still aging, this is not a “craft” distillery in the sense of being a small volume operation — they’re built to be a major operation. And while Wally walks us through what he’s got planned, we’ll be tasting 6 of their expressions, a mixture of things they’ve made in house and liquid that they’ve sourced:

• Fifth District Series bourbon 6yo barrel #62

• Monks Road small batch KY Straight bourbon

• Rattle & Snap TN whiskey ltd release 8yo,

• Rattle & Snap 4yo small batch TN whiskey,

• Monks road gin,

• Monks road aged gin

We’re all going to be hearing a lot more about this distillery in the near future, so this is a great opportunity to get a crash course on what’s to come from the person there who is leading the charge. We hope you can join us!
