We’re excited to announce that our next Drammers Denver tasting will take place on Tuesday, January 25th at 7pm at The Whiskey Bar (downtown), and we’re thrilled to welcome as our guest speaker for the event Austin Ponton, the brand ambassador for Westland Single Malts, located in Seattle. We’ve long been fans of Westland Single Malt, and have had the pleasure of welcoming their co-founder and Master Distiller Matt Hoffman at various events in person and online over the years. And we were incredibly honored that they let us buy the last 2 barrels out of their single barrel program before they shut it down in 2019 (they have only recently reopened it), including one of their first 500 casks — cask #430! Truly amazing. In any case, we’ve got a fun lineup of their whiskies, including one from their core range, our 2 exclusive single casks, and the rest are basically all rare offerings:
