Hello Oklahoma City Drammers!
You’re invited to join us for a tasting of rare whiskey and spirits tasting on Monday, February 2nd at 6:30pm. A big thank you to John and Zac for organizing and hosting us again (address: The Eleanor (602 W Sheridan). Charlie will be coming in town with a fun mix of rare Scotch, bourbon and mezcal, including an experimental series of Scotches released in connection with the new film from filmmaker Greg Swartz “Independent Spirits”, which was just released and is available on Amazon (as four 30-minute episodes). Our retail partner DRINQY.com is the the retail partner for the film, so we’ve got them all for you to taste. Here’s the tentative lineup:

Independent Spirits - The Octave Project - Ex-Rye Octave Cask (Craigellachie 11yo) 64.7% abv
Independent Spirits - The Octave Project - Ex-Bourbon Octave Cask (Craigellachie 11yo) 63.7% abv
Single Cask Nation - Glen Garioch 12yo bottling for the Independent Spirits film. Finished in an Oloroso hogshead, 58.9% abv.
High West - the new release of A Midwinters Night’s Dram
Two new Drammers batch picks of 5 Sentidos mezcal, including one that was fermented in cow hide!
Plus one more surprise, likely an independent bottling of Scotch!
