Dec. 5: Bruichladdich and The Water of Life Whisky Film! (Hybrid Online and in person in NYC)...
Fellow Drammers!
On December 5th, starting at 3pm EST, we’re excited to welcome back not only our friends at Bruichladdich, including someone joining us live from the distillery, but also our new friends from The Water of Life, a wonderful film all about — you guessed it — whisky! It has a particular focus on Jim McEwan and hence the Bruichladdich tie in. We’ll be tasting rare whiskies, we’ll be watching The Water of Life film, and general merriment will no doubt be had all around. And since this is an event we’ve been working on for quite a while now, and we’ve lined up some great whiskies to taste.
This will be a HYBRID event - half the folks will join in person, half will join online. The two groups will come together for approximately 45 min to an hour for a joint discussion, then each group will be welcome to continue the discussion (but we won’t connect the audio between the two groups). So, as for the whiskies, one set is only for the folks joining online. The other set is only for the folks joining in person in NYC. These are NOT all the whiskies we’ll be drinking, we’ll have some fun additional bottlings from our friends at Bruichladdich to sip on during the film, but here are some of the gems we were able to pick up at auction that we’ll be drinking…
