Aug. 2nd: Drammers NYC with Copper & Kings' Master Distiller Brandon O'Daniel......

Hello Fellow Drammers!

We’re excited to announce that the Master Distiller for Copper & Kings, Brandon O’Daniel, will be joining us in person for a special tasting on August 2nd at 7:30pm (note the time - 7:30 instead of 7pm). Copper & Kings are based in Louisville, but don’t make bourbon or rye, instead they describe themselves as brandy specialists, and that they certainly are, though they also make excellent gin, absinthe and other fun distillates. Longtime Drammers will remember that we picked two of their single barrels exclusively for our club during the pandemic — a barrel of their grape brandy matured in a tequila cask, and a barrel of their apple-based gin fully matured in a sherry cask! Both are exquisite, but of course only touch the tip of the C&K iceberg. We’ve been socking away some special releases from them over the years for an occasion just like this. As is often the case, we’ll be tasting a bunch of their releases that you’re unlikely to get another chance to try. We hope you can join us! $35/person for Members, $50/person for Observers. We’ll order in pizza as usual to make sure nobody is drinking on an empty stomach. We hope you can join us!
