Apr. 6: Drammers Indianapolis w/ 5 Sentidos Founder Jason Cox

Hello Indianapolis Drammers!

This is such a fun story.  Last October during our annual trip to Oaxaca, Mexico for Day of the Dead, we had a tasting at 5 Sentidos event space with founder (and we're proud to say our longtime friend) Jason Cox.  During the tasting, he mentioned he was from Indiana but wasn't yet distributed in the state.  We reminded him we had a chapter in Indianapolis and asked if we might reach out to one of our friends to see if we could help bring 5 Sentidos in to the state?  I texted our friend Dave Helt at Vine & Table who immediately said he was game, and 5 months later, it's a reality! 

Well obviously we're incredibly proud of all this -- even if we did only play a fairly small role as matchmaker, but still, we're very proud to have helped make this happen!  Coordinating with our friends at Vine & Table and Jason from 5 Sentidos, we helped arrange a launch party and tasting that Vine & Table is throwing this Thursday from 4-6pm.  They'll be pouring the 4 expressions of 5 Sentidos that they brought into the store (Madrecuixe, Tobala, Espadin Capon and Pechuga de Mole Poblano), and we'll have a special secret extra pour or two in the booth for Drammers members, possibly even our soon to arrive Drammer pick from 5 Sentidos if it arrives in time.  The tentative plan is a kind of welcome pour from 4 to 4:30pm, Jason will give a presentation from 4:30 to 5:30pm, then will be around to answer questions after.  Then when the event ends around 6pm, we'll head to La Margarita with Jason for an after party, where everyone can order their own drinks as they like.  The event is free to attend but requires that you RSVP.
